Customize recipes for families, couples, large or small groups. This app does what a regular cookbook cant--instantly scales all ingredients based on number of guests coming to dinner!
● Also converts between Metric & US measures

++Featured by Apple in Party Planner, Apps for Foodies++

Easily convert entire recipes using serving sizes--no more fraction math! Save favorites and revise recipe for latest guest size in a snap.

● Got a family of 5? Scale 4 serving recipes to 5--less leftovers than just doubling a recipe. A lifesaver especially for parents on a budget.

● Holiday dinner guest lists change yearly. Change 6-serving recipe to 14 one year, then to 9 the next.

● Dinner for 1 tonight, but you dont want 3 days of leftovers. Convert that 4 serving recipe to a 1-person meal.

● Youre catering a big event for 100. Scale up an 8 serving recipe for a crowd. Serving Sizer™ Recipe Manager will calculate the right amounts to buy and make. Resize for a different sized group next time.

● Sure, anyone can double a recipe from 4 to 8 servings, but what if you have 10 people coming and dont want to run out of meat? Calculate how many pounds to buy for your dinner party.

● Got a cookbook from Europe, and amounts are all in metric? Serving Sizer Recipe Manager can help here too--one tap toggle to change between US and Metric units

Not sure if this app is right for you? Try our lighter version: Serving Sizer recipe converter--calculates one ingredient at a time. Custom iPad version with additional features also available: Recipe Manager with Serving Sizer

Pros and cons of Serving Sizer Recipe Manager app for iPhone and iPad

Serving Sizer Recipe Manager app good for

I had a recipe for lasagne for 6 peoples. i use the serving sizer app to upsize to 35 peoples .You put in your original recipe and you choose the amount of people that you want, then add your original ingredients and voila it changed the recipe ingredients to the amount of people. Will use this app many more times
Just awesome Own a food business and it has helped me tremendously
Loved the previous version. The Pro will even more usefull. Lots of great new features have been added. P. L.
This is a neat ap for favorite recipies that you might make for company; it makes it much easier to size the portions, and elimiates conversion mistakes. (If it saves you from doing that wrong one time its probably more than paid for itself already!) Useful, easy to use, intuitive, attractive UI; love the ingredient list.
Rating it only 4 because it still uses plain conversions, as in mass to mass and volume to volume. The real value would be grams to cups, for instance. Otherwise its a pretty nice app. Editing a recipe is a bit confusing, I wanted to add ingredients but always ended up editing directions instead.
While preparing dishes in the kitchen I have my iPhone in one hand and a teaspoon in the other. Multipling portions is a breeze now and it makes shopping and cooking more fun! Without hesitation, I recomend this app.

Some bad moments

This app delivers on its promises. What I didnt stop to think about before purchasing it was that the promises werent worth making. By the time youve finished typing in the recipe name, original ingredients and quantities you have lost interest in cooking and sent out for pizza. It takes that long! If the ingredient isnt in the database you cant even enter it. There is just no quick way to use it. It doesnt take an app to figure out that if the recipe calls for 3/4 cup of milk and you are doubling it, you need 1 1/2 cups of milk. Unless you have a lot of time and patience, reconsider purchasing this app.
Have to enter an entire recipe in order to convert. Not practical when sometimes all you want is a quick conversion.
Very frustrating! Waste of time and money. Not user friendly.
I used to Love this app it worked great. But then I found out when I got a new iPhone, that only the app transfers not the data in it. That was a bummer since it didnt back up either. Probably wont use it anymore. Cant redo all the info I had. Bummer.
